Seriously, sometimes I just hate to hell those creators of image-editing softwares like Photoshop. People are finding out how "easy" is to use those softwares to create "COOL" wallpapers. Of course, it's neither easy to create something really good, nor those crappy trendy wall are cool.

Sometimes I hate tutorials, font/image/brush/texture libraries.

I'm still here. Anyway, I'll introduce myself: I'm k! AKA Leaf AKA Shimmy. I'm just a 19 years old little boy, that is allways with some ache (random bodyparts doomed by moon, mostly stomach-ache cause of the Coffee overdoses). I'd like to illustrate, pratice some graphic design skills while listening to Air/MuM/Tycho music, and I really enjoy playing games. Actually, I'm pretending to enter some Game graduate school, after finishing my Graphic Design one. Of course, I don't like much to programming (this word is like aggro or something O-o). Anyway... you guys didn't read all of this shit that I'm writting...

Well Swordfish started to make walls that aren't allowed in AP and i think he make walls for some other sites but he's still here chating with his friends [ i guess >.>] ,

AP stands for ANIMEpaper.
original art need to be related to anime/manga?

since your work is abstract, you might want to submit to places that don't base all their gfx on anime/manga. or minitokyo's general section may work.

and yes, life is harsh and unfair.
live with it, since the rest of us have to anyways

AP is not saying that your OAA wall is crap, it's just not anime-ish in their opinion. Yes, putting your wallpaper in OAA category means you have to draw more like the rest of us straight unimaginative people. Still, if you want to submit that, MiniTokyo will gladly accept it as a 'General Wallpaper' and not an 'Anime Wallpaper'.

Oh, and I also had one of my wallpapers deleted even with two weeks of work on it. And I'm still walling.
